not to impress you with a polished off speech
or claim to have or know superior wisdom
I’ll keep it as simple as possible
It’s all about Jesus and what He did
for me…for you…for us
I come to you in weakness and fear
Unsure of how to even go about this
I just pray that His message be made clear by the power of His Spirit
(These words inspired by Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians)

Love ~ the new has come
Romans 8:1-2 - Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.
2 Corinthians 5: 16-17 – Therefore, if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation, the old has gone, the new has come!
Is there a limit to His unconditional love?
There is nothing you could do to make God love you less
<&>
There is nothing you can do to make God love you more than He already does
The ground at the foot of the cross is level.
It has nothing to do with who we are and everything to do with who He is.
Freedom ~ the new is here
Isaiah 43:18-19 - Forget the former things, Do not dwell on the past, See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up. Don’t you see it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.
from PAST
from FEAR
from PRIDE
Jimmy Neeham's Benediction:
No one is good not even one
The front pages of papers of children raped by rapist
Iraqi torture chambers and we the blame claim we're blameless
Wrong all
And swelling up inside of us there's this pride in us this arrogance
And our only line of defense is the sense that
Im not as half as bad as this friend of mine so I must be fine
We mean well don't we
Yet I've never seen good intentions set a man free from
Hurt all
This poor unfortunate soul
Filling a single void with toy after toy with girl after boy
How boring this wasn't this meant to be Humanity's life story
Warring with Good saying what have you done for me
Bought all
Hanging out for six hours marred beyond recognition
In complete submission to his father will still
A proclamation was made louder than the loudest temptation
With more beauty than all his creation
More eternal than eternity more angelic than the heavenlies
It Is done for you and bought with blood
Accept
Rejoice
For freedom has come
Hope ~ the new is coming
Hope defined by culture: 50/50 probability, maybe, doubt it
vs Scripture's definition: eager anticipation for what's to come, certitude, fo sho!
Acts 2:23-28 – This man was handed over to you by God’s set purpose and foreknowledge and you, with the help of wicked men put him to death by nailing him to the cross. But God raised him from the dead freeing him from the agony of death because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. David said, ‘I saw the Lord always before me. He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices! My body also will live in hope because you will not abandon me to the grave. You have made known to me the paths of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence.
We are all, daily, given the opportunity to live fresh lives and receive the gift of grace,
Yet it remains our choice to accept it.
Much like the gum you were given at the beginning represents the fresh and newness of life,
And the decision we can make whether to chew it or not.
fresh
Love ~ the new has come
Freedom ~ the new is here
Hope ~ the new is coming
And so we pray Father,
May we go from this place seeking after You and engaging with those you have placed in our lives.
May we celebrate what you have done, are doing and will do.
Let Your freedom, hope and love be complete us as we go in Your peace.
